Sylvia Bolton established her studio in 1993 after working with renowned yacht designer Glade Johnson. Originally from Bulgaria, Sylvia traveled extensively throughout Europe and Africa and studied in Italy before relocating to Seattle, where her fascination with boats led her to specialize in yacht interior architecture and design.

Over the years, Sylvia has worked on both custom and production yachts, blending her fine art and industrial design background to approach each project as a unique work of art—where composition, form, and function unite seamlessly.

Beyond yacht interiors, Sylvia has extended her design expertise to residences, private clubs, and aircraft, collaborating with many of her yachting clients to bring a cohesive, sophisticated vision to a variety of spaces. She partners closely with shipyards and clients throughout North America and abroad.

Since joining Westport Yachts in 2018, Sylvia has focused exclusively on the design and evolution of the Westport Yacht line.
